A group of Christian women who are called and committed to serving others needs.

In October of 2011 - the UMW implemented a system enabling our local body of Christ to better reach and serve those in need due to a death in the family, illness, accident, etc...

The group is called "Serving Other's Needs" or "SON" for short.

The objective of SON is to stay in close contact with the family providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support until the need is satisfied.  

SON volunteers are men, women, young, and old who are put on a rotating list rendering assistance to families who need help in the home, meals, errands, transportation, etc...  

How it works

We have a list of volunteers:

• The first on the list is called to help.  If they are unavailable - the next person is called

• The respondant completes their task - and calls the next person 

• The respondant completes their task and calls the next until help is no longer needed
